Carolyn and Jed’s Kitchen Revamp
Carolyn and Jed just wanted a mini-facelift for this space for not a lot of money. I decided to bring in a few elements that always make a big impact but cost less:
We went with a slightly edgy ceiling fixture. In decorating, the kitchen is often a great place to be a little risky and let loose a little!
We needed to get rid of the dated yellow walls, so we opted for a barely-there gray called Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore
We opted to let go of the traditional, boring dark wood table and bring in something fresh and modern. Enter, IKEA’s Docksta!
We kept the wall décor very modern and clean. Black & white family photos are often the perfect design solution in a kitchen
