Carolyn and Jed’s Kitchen Revamp
Carolyn and Jed just wanted a mini-facelift for this space for not a lot of money. I decided to bring in a few elements that always make a big impact but cost less:
- We went with a slightly edgy ceiling fixture. In decorating, the kitchen is often a great place to be a little risky and let loose a little!
- We needed to get rid of the dated yellow walls, so we opted for a barely-there gray called Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore
- We opted to let go of the traditional, boring dark wood table and bring in something fresh and modern. Enter, IKEA’s Docksta!
- We kept the wall décor very modern and clean. Black & white family photos are often the perfect design solution in a kitchen
